Why Teams Use FeedMob Insights
FeedMob Insights is a hosted Model Context Protocol server for mobile app market intelligence. Connect your AI assistant to app downloads, DAU, revenue, ad creatives, and leaderboard data via a single MCP endpoint.
Once connected, your AI assistant can search for apps, analyze download and revenue trends, retrieve DAU metrics, inspect ad creatives, and compare competitors — all through natural language.
Use the hosted endpoint below to connect supported clients:
https://insights-mcp.feedmob.com/mcp
Authentication uses OAuth 2.0. You will be prompted to log in the first time you connect from Claude.ai or Claude Desktop.
Get Started
Request Access
FeedMob Insights is currently available to FeedMob customers and partners. To request an account, contact tech@feedmob.com.
What You Need
- A FeedMob account (email/password or Google sign-in for
@feedmob.com addresses)
- An MCP-compatible AI client: Claude.ai (web) or Claude Desktop
Set Up FeedMob Insights in Claude.ai
1
Open Claude.ai and go to Customize → Connectors
Sign in to Claude.ai, open the left navigation, and go to Customize → Connectors.
2
Add a custom connector
Click +, choose Add custom connector, and enter the remote MCP server URL:
https://insights-mcp.feedmob.com/mcp
Leave Advanced settings blank unless your organization administrator gave you a specific OAuth client configuration.
3
Connect and authorize with FeedMob
After the connector is added, click Connect. Claude.ai will redirect you to the FeedMob login page. Sign in with your credentials, approve access, and return to Claude with the connector attached to your account.
4
Enable it in a conversation
In a new chat, click the + button in the lower-left composer area, open Connectors, and toggle on FeedMob Insights for that conversation.
5
Ask Claude to use FeedMob Insights
Once enabled, mention FeedMob Insights in your request so Claude knows which connector to use. Example:
Use FeedMob Insights to find TikTok and show its download trends for the last 30 days in the US.
Team and Enterprise note: if you do not see Add custom connector, your organization owner may need to add the remote MCP connector first in Organization settings → Connectors. After that, each user still needs to click Connect for their own account.
Set Up FeedMob Insights in Claude Desktop
1
Sign in to Claude Desktop with your Claude account
Remote MCP custom connectors in Claude Desktop are tied to your Claude account and are brokered through Anthropic's cloud. They are not the same as local MCP servers configured with claude_desktop_config.json.
2
Add or connect the FeedMob Insights custom connector
Open Customize → Connectors, add the remote MCP URL if needed, then click Connect for FeedMob Insights.
https://insights-mcp.feedmob.com/mcp
3
Complete OAuth the first time Claude needs the connector
When Claude Desktop first uses a FeedMob Insights tool, it will send you through the FeedMob OAuth sign-in flow. After you sign in successfully, the connector will be available to that Claude account.
4
Enable FeedMob Insights in the conversation
In the chat composer, open the + menu, choose Connectors, and toggle on FeedMob Insights for the current conversation before asking for app intelligence tasks.
Example Requests
These examples match sample app data currently available in this environment. In Claude.ai, start your request with "FeedMob Insights" or "Use FeedMob Insights to…" so Claude uses this integration.

Common Issues
- Claude says it cannot find the FeedMob Insights integration
- Make sure the connector is present under Customize → Connectors and enabled for the current conversation from the + menu. In Team or Enterprise accounts, confirm an owner added the custom connector for the organization first.
- Authentication error or "unauthorized" response
- For Claude.ai or Claude Desktop, disconnect and re-add the integration to trigger a fresh login. Contact tech@feedmob.com if the issue persists.
- Tools return empty results
- Try broadening the date range or removing the country/platform filter. Some apps may not have data for narrow time windows or specific regions. Use
search_apps first to confirm the app is indexed and retrieve its unified_id, then pass that ID to metric tools for precise lookups.
- Slow responses
- First-time tool calls may be slower while the server warms up cached data. Subsequent calls to the same app and date range are typically faster. If latency is consistently high, contact support.
- Claude Desktop does not prompt for login after adding the server
- This is expected. The OAuth login prompt appears the first time a tool call is made, not when the server is added. Start a conversation and ask Claude to use a FeedMob Insights tool — the consent screen will appear at that point.
- I need to revoke or change access
- To revoke OAuth access, contact tech@feedmob.com and we will revoke or rotate your credentials.
